Us Weekly is reporting that Justin Timberlake dumped his girlfriend of three years Jessica Biel… last month… over the phone! (This explains now the rumors about him getting lovey-dovey with Rihanna!) Also, apparently Jessica is refusing to give him up and her friends say “she is in severe denial and won’t accept the split.”

Dennis Hopper has been rushed to a NYC hospital. No information has been made public about what is wrong.

Supposedly Kanye West threw a fit over the weekend at Common's charity concert at the Hollywood Palladium all over some chicken! While in the dressing room backstage, Kanye saw someone eating chicken and he freaked out shouting, "Why wasn't I offered chicken? You want me to perform for free, [and] everyone is eating…why am I not eating?" The waiter told him it was because he didn't ask and the rapper retorted, "Well, I’m asking now!" The waiter promptly got him the chicken to which Kanye responded by taking a single bite and throwing the rest out. Apparently girlfriend Amber Rose looked pretty embarrassed and apologized to the waiter.

Both Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey arrived in Copenhagen yesterday to support the Chicago bid team for the 2016 Olympics. The International Olympics Committee will supposedly make their decision on Friday.

According to Star magazine, Sarah Silverman is now dating fellow comedian Rob Huebel. The pair have known each other for a while but have decided to take it to another level.

Will Ferrell and his wife are expecting their third child. The couple just had an ultrasound and found out it will be a baby boy, the couple’s third baby boy.

Goldie Hawn’s son Oliver Hudson announced that he and his wife are expecting their second child. The couple had Wilder Brooks Hudson in August 2007 and say they “can’t wait” for the newest child who is due in early 2010.

Even though they are selling out shows left and right for three months, U2 has yet to make a dime off of their tour. The Claw, as they call it, is their portable stage and it costs about $750K to construct and transport for every single show!

With his new album, Battle Studies, being released on November 17th, John Mayer has announced two upcoming shows around the holidays with the "elusive" John Mayer Trio including bassist Pino Palladino and drummer Steve Jordan. They'll be playing at the Copley Symphony Hall in San Diego on December 29 and on New Year's Eve show in Las Vegas at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Both concerts will raise money for veterans' charities including Military Outreach Ministry Camp Pendleton and the Veterans Health Research Institute. Mayer's also planning his North American tour to begin in early 2010.

Showtime and the BBC have teamed up to produce a new comedy created by Mad About You's Jeffrey Klarik and Friends' David Crane. The premise of EPISODES is that a British couple with a hit show in the UK are commissioned by Hollywood producers to create a new dumbed-down version for an American audience starring Matt LeBlanc, who will be playing himself in the show!

NBC has joined forces with Dreamworks to bring not one but FOUR holiday specials based off the studios animated hits Monster vs. Aliens and Madagascar. The first one will be a Halloween one about Mutant Pumpkins from Outer Space. It will air October 28th.

Jessica Alba is in talks for a role in Little Fockers, the third installment of the Meet the Parents franchise with Robert DeNiro and Ben Stiller. Jessica would play a “sexy pharmaceutical rep whose looks wreak havoc on the males in the story.”

Reports are saying that Fox is getting ready to add yet another animated project to their line-up and they want the boys behind Robot Chicken to do it. Seth Green, along with his pals, Matthew Senreich and Tom Root, are expected to produce something in the vein of Seth's other gig, Family Guy, but combine it with the "comic sensibility" found on their Adult Swim shows Robot Chicken and Titan Maximum.

Jason Priestley has landed the title character role in a Canadian TV comedy called Meet Phil Fitz. His character is a "used-car salesman walking a fine line of acceptable behavior on the lot alongside a new salesman, do-gooder Larry, who becomes his alter-ego."

Legal Issues

Seven years since she was abducted from her Salt Lake City bedroom by knifepoint, Elizabeth Smart will be in the same room as her alleged kidnapper Brian David Mitchell. Smart, now 21, wanted to testify about her nine-month ordeal before she leaves on an 18-month mission to Paris for the Mormon church in early November.

Scott Z Myers, who home-schooled country singer Wynonna Judd's two children, has been charged with distribution of child pornography. According to reports, 3,000 files of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct were found on his computer! Myers, who is only 27, admitted in an online chatroom that he engaged in sexual activity with four boys who lived nearby and was also seen leaving his apartment with two boys when the feds showed up to execute a search warrant.

Oscar-winning screenwriter Roger Avary has been sentenced to one year in jail and five years probation for DUI charges and vehicular manslaughter stemming from a tragic auto accident in January 2008. He caused the Ojai, California, crash in which his car sped out of control at 100 mph resulting in a fatally injury. A family friend visiting from Italy, Andreas Zini, was killed along with critically injuring his own wife, Gretchen. Avary has reached a $4.1 million settlement with the victim’s family, along with taking full responsibility for his actions.

Give a Day, Get a Disney Day

The Walt Disney Co. announced a new campaign for their theme parks in 2010. For as many as 1 million people who volunteer through the HandsOn Network, Disney will honor the good deed by offering a free 1-day admission to any theme park, either at Disneyland or Walt Disney World Resort. The promotion is being dubbed "Give a Day, Get a Disney Day."

The deal starts on January 1st. People who are interested can go to their website to look through what volunteer opportunities are available and sign up for events.
