Apparently there is a lot of drama on the set of the upcoming Thor movie. It seems that Anthony Hopkins doesn’t think his co-star Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor, cuts it as an actor. According to a “source,” Anthony has no problem telling Chris all the things he is doing wrong. Hopkins is also upset with the director because they are shooting too many scenes inside a studio and not on location.

So the reviews for The Last Song are coming in and it looks like Miley Cyrus might want to look into some acting lessons if she wants to focus on her acting. The New York Times, The NY Post, The Village Voice, The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, The Miami Herald and Variety are reporting that the movie is good but Miley sucks and they were not nice at all about it. “She seems to be mugging for the camera, play-acting rather than exploring the motives and feelings of her character.” “Cyrus makes the most dubious ‘dramatic’ debut of any singer since Britney Spears.” “buff Liam Hemsworth looks like he is acting with an Andy Hardy-era Mickey Rooney in a wig.”

It is official! There will be a Lady Gaga episode on Glee! In May, the cast will sing songs like Bad Romance, Poker face and others.

The hit off-Broadway musical and cult classic Hedwig and the Angry Inch is going to take on Broadway with writer John Cameron reprising the role of Hedwig. “Hedwig is ageless. Unfortunately , I’m not and I’m almost 47, which means I’m at the gym every day, trying to get my old body back, my paunch down and my stamina up. I haven’t acted since I did the movie.

There is going to be a big fight at the box office this Halloween. Both Paranormal Activity 2 and Saw VII 3D are planning to be released on October 22nd.

Karl Penn may be working at the White House, but he isn’t giving up acting yet. The third installment of Harold & Kumar is in the works. It is supposedly a Christmas-themed movie and will be released for the 2011 holiday season. Rumor has it that it might even be in 3D.

Ashley Tisdale is prepping for a High School Musical spin-off centered around her character Sharpay Evans in the new Disney movie Broadway Bound.

Michael Bay announced that he is going to make a remake of Roman Polanski’s 1968 movie Rosemary’s Baby.

It is also being reported that a remake of Private Benjamin is in the works. The 1980 movie was about a spoiled woman who joins the army after her husband dies during sex on their wedding night. The new version will be set in modern times and will star Anna Faris.

Paramount has hired Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka to write the screenplay for a movie adaptation of Baywatch. They want the movie to be like the Charlie’s Angel movie that had Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore.

Director Roland Emmerich is reportedly prepping for two sequels to the 1996 movie Independence Day. It is rumored that Will Smith is going to return but nothing official has been stated.

CKX, the company that owns Simon Fuller’s 19 Management, is close to being sold to JP Morgan Chase for over $500 million. The new owner would in turn acquire the rights to the American Idol franchise (including contestants’ careers and their music), So You Think You Can Dance, the rights to the name, image and likeness of Muhammad Ali, and Victoria Beckham’s fashion label.
