The public viewing for Etta James is scheduled for Friday. However it is being reported that Al Sharpton eulogy will be at the private funeral on Saturday. Both the viewing and funeral will include performances by celebrities.

Yesterday I reported about Gabriel Aubry and his abuse of the nanny. Well, his story to the police was that he didn’t push her, she tripped. The police are continuing their investigation but no charges have been filed yet.

CSI star Marg Helgenberge became the latest actress to receive her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday.

On his talk show The Revolution, fashion design guru Tim Gunn confessed he hasn’t enjoyed sex for 29 years! There was an icky relationship in his past that really messed him up emotionally. He did stress to the audience that just because he might not be having sex, he is still a “perfectly fulfilled person” and that “sex does not define who you are. If you aren’t in the mood, you aren’t and there is nothing wrong with that.”

In a recent interview, Glenn Close revealed that she was actually a part of the extremely conservative cult Moral Re-Armament from the age of 7 until she went to college. “Everyone was told to think alike and everything was dictated to you. You didn’t have to think at all.” And while she wouldn’t wish that life on anyone, she says that she believes it helped her acting a lot because “it gives you a huge sense of looking from the outside in.”

UNICEF ambassador Selena Gomez is headed to the Democratic Republic of the Congo to help some of the citizens of the war-torn country. Her previous trips have included Ghana and Chile and she says she is grateful to have been given the opportunity to help others.
